Welcome to the Williamstown Primary School website.
The school is situated in the township of Williamstown, between the Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills.
Strong partnerships between school and home are a valued part of our success at Williamstown Primary and Preschool. The local community has a long history of supporting the school and we value working with our families to continue and extend opportunities for our students’ learning.
Our school-based preschool supports children to become confident learners with a strongly developed sense of personal agency. The preschool provides a quality play-based program to ensure actively engaged learning for all.
As a school, we plan and implement ongoing innovations and initiatives to ensure rigorous learning programs that support each student from Preschool to Year 6 to achieve their potential in a safe, secure and positive environment. In addition to high quality classroom teaching, we offer Science, Performing Arts and Japanese as specialist subjects.
Our teachers use ICT as learning tools and students are encouraged to consider the role of multimedia and applications in their individual learning and academic development. We have extensive grounds and facilities for our students to access including a gym, court and large oval adjacent to the school and two playgrounds, courts and play areas for students on the school grounds.
Before and after-school care is available through the Camp Australia OSHC program located at the school. We are always happy to discuss our programs and to work together with parents to develop confident successful learners.
